HINDUISM & SIKHISM--- How do both of them have one & same Philosophy?

Because the purpose of making Sikhism religion was the safety of Hindus. Once upon a time when Hinduism was in very suffer and trouble than the first Guru Of Sikhism make this religion. Obviously many thing is same because broth's base is one.
