Pin straight hair ??

mii hair is naturaly wavy/curly and i like 2 straightn it but i got this straightner thats sapposd 2 work jus like the chi n it works fine but like 2 seconds after its all straightned it gets agin. does anybody kno wat i can do to make it be really straight and stay straight ?? help plz
