Can anybody remember the name of this game?

I used to play on this game when I was a kid, I can't even remember what console I played it on, probably the nintendo 64, or the NES. I just remember it was really colourful like the 2D mario's or sonic's, and there were really high tree's, and I'm not sure if you played as an elephant, but I know that other animals/people followed you, and you just had to make your way up these very unrealistic tree's. That's alls I can remember, thanks if you can and sorry for the lack of information. x
