My husband just graduated as a Geologist. How can he get a job where he will work outside?

My husband just graduated s a geologist (Bachelors degree). He just got a job with the BLM that pays very low and it looks like it is all inside paper work. He has to sit in a cubicle all day. He is a very outdoors type of person! So what sort of job or where should he apply for an outside/adventure geologist job?
