A Rose by any other name...?
I agree. Little Rybbickkah might be just as adorable as Rebbecca, but it won't be that way from first impression. And people might picture little Rhobbyrte and Aeno'Beylle (Translation: Robert and Annabelle) as stuck-up, unintelligent little children, because that is how the name makes the parents look. If you name your children Ehmuh Lueyss and Jayc'Kobb Rhiyonn (Translation: Emma Louise and Jacob Ryan), you look as stuck-up and unintelligent as if you name your children Prechous and Gorgious, since it seems like you can't even spell right. Yes, it doesn't mean the children aren't great, but it makes the parents look dumb, and like father like son, it makes the child look dumb, so people don't want to even see how sweet the child is. If you go with traditional names, you can't go wrong. Lauren Daphne and Micheal Jacob will seem sweet and innocent (except to biased people) even if they are the worst children the world has seen (not saying that there are truly horrible children out there). Go traditional. It never fails.
