On pokemon diamond how do you get the boy to sleep in oder to get a nation dex and to moon island?

i've done everything!!!! i dont have a nation dex because i haven't seen this pokemon and i can go any futher i the game with one. ive been to the flight area and won a bettle towr challege but when i try and go to the other part they are still telling me to battle in the tower please help me!
