I was eating some pecans..and later i spit up a tiny bug?

what the hell was it? like when i got done eating, i was picking my teeth and spitting cus sometimes the nuts get stuck in my teeth..and when i spit a tiny tiny black bug came out and friken hopped. so i washed it down the drain. Was it a parasite on the pecans? serious answers only!
