Could an MRI or CT scan detect a dead testicle?

I had an MRI and CT scan done of my groin area downward to my legs for a hernia. i'm wondering if the docters who saw the scans would have detected if i had testicular torsion (or a dead testicle). I know an ultrasound is best but at the time the Docter didn't even think i needed one and i never told him about the possible torsion so it was left unchecked. could they have seen it?
