College opinion and fact question, please answer!?

Unfortunately... Your friends right. It doesn't matter. A degree is a degree these days. Only older people will tell you different. My fiance and I recently graduated. He went to a great school I went to an economy school that was cheap for me. We both have the same degree and have the same job and our pay is almost exactly the same. The only thing that matters is your GPA and your degree level...so get a 4.0 and get your masters, doctorate or phd. Unfortunately a bechelors degree these days is almost as common w people our age as a high school education. Just go for your 6 or 8 year degree and get great grades.
